So here are a few images from a highly coveted story Ive been working on in my spare time. This is something I intend to at some point go to print with as a graphic novel. its going to take me forever and i think Ive been waiting to post anything about it until i'd managed to free up the spare time to work on it consistently. but to hell with all that. I do plan to start a separate blog dedicated entirely to this story soon, but for now here are some old images.

I was thinking of this as an Amazonian (Greek mythology style, not so much real world native) villager. maybe a merchant.

waterside marketplace

did this a little while ago, but just getting to scanning it now. its marker on glossy xerox paper, so it gives this weird layering effect when the marker pools together.

Ive always loved greek mythology. i might come back to this and do a bunch more.

no color yet, but this is the prince companion to the previous image. kind of going for a grungy/gothy subdued look

i did this little doodle today at lunch (lauren took the car with all my art supplies, so i found a ballpoint pen and stole some paper from the xerox). i splashed some color on it tonight, thought i would go in a less princessy and more gothy direction with it.

Darkstalkers WIP Update

Painted this some one night, and then continued it while at comic-fest hangin' with friends. it was sort of hard to paint there due to the laptop i was on and the lighting, so i couldn't really tell what colors i was adding (though i had my base colors down already so it shouldn't be too hard to correct whatever damage was done).

a doodle that sprouted into a painting, i eventually want to get a fair amount of detail in there and do a larger format print with it (its currently about 8k pixels wide)
