Darkstalkers WIP Update

Painted this some one night, and then continued it while at comic-fest hangin' with friends. it was sort of hard to paint there due to the laptop i was on and the lighting, so i couldn't really tell what colors i was adding (though i had my base colors down already so it shouldn't be too hard to correct whatever damage was done).

Darkstalkers

got a darkstalkers tribute book, inspired this sketch. darkstalkers characters are fun to draw because everyone does.

Matriarch of the Forest

a doodle that sprouted into a painting, i eventually want to get a fair amount of detail in there and do a larger format print with it (its currently about 8k pixels wide)

its about time

i havn't posted anything in ages, so im going to throw up these random sketchbook pages, nothing particularly great, but there they are.

anime sketch

i got an anime book recently (ugetsu hakua) inspired me to do a quick animeish girl.

another girlie sketch

Adelea/ steampunk fashion sketch

a character/fashion sketch for a steampunk story of mine.

girlie doodle.

Marker Doodle

got some new paper at office depot, and i was oddly excited about it, its this glossy printer paper (lightweight though, and pretty cheap), which i thought would be perfect for markers... so i celebrated with this marker sketch. the result was mixed, it smeared a lot, and took a really long time to dry... but also welled up in cool places- wow, im rambling about paper, nevermind. i did a doodle.

siper team update

update to the sniper team image. kind of seeing them being sort of a small band of freedom fighters in a post apocalyptic foreign government occupation (IRA style), instead of the robot/zombie thing... but then, theres always room for robots and zombies.

mech

mech drawing. probably more light military in nature, like a guard or militia
another mech drawing. maybe a worker or repair vehicle.

quick artrage sketch (well sorta quick), an imperial palace-ish/parliament type building.

heres a couple of photos of a sculpture i did a while ago. just got a new camera so i figured i'd put it to use before i painted some of my sculpture that have been collecting dust for months.

post apocalyptic sniper team

i imagine these guys as a small band of snipers defending their little compound of human survivors from zombies or robots that have taken over the world (maybe the zombies and robots are working together, that would suck). its obviously not finished, but nothing ever is anyway.

PS doodle

heres a little pre-work warm up i did a while ago.

Day of Fates Comic Cover

this is a fake cover for an idea i had.  the cover sports a love affair with satan and lilith.Publish Post

Gambit

i think im calling this done.  i ended up liking the 'half-done' look of the rogue painting from before, so im going for a similar look here.

Gambit WIP

another x-men pinup.  its coming out a little mangaish...i think its the forced perspective, well see if i can manage to fix that.

Emma Frost Pinup

more x-men. pencil with gouache on grey construction paper.

WIP rogue pinup

been reading a lot of x-men lately, so i thought id do a little tribute doodle.

scifi pilot character

Started this one a while ago, and took the time to finally finish it up a little this weekend.

A giant airship docking for supplies. this is part of a little pet project of mine... pretty sure im going to paint this one when i get some spare time.
this one is no where near finished... but its been unfinished for a while... so i figured i'd scan it anyway.
dumb little armor doodle.

comic booky sketches

Childhood Hall of Fame

Played some Sonic the Hedgehog, the greatest game on earth ever (as long as it was on genesis).

Cannibal Fish

Art Rage sketch

WIP comic concept

heres so some images from a comic i've been working on for a while. One is a character sketch of the main character, the other is a possible book cover that i never got around to finishing.

Samus

An oldish work in progress Samus picture.

sketchbook scans

i felt like i should post something, but i havn't really done anything cause ive been so busy with freelance crap. so i scanned a couple of old images from my sketchbook.
